Ono of my co-workers got to drive a stick-shift Mustang GT across BC and he took it on old highways and gravel roads the whole way there. I’m not a total Mustang fan but I wouldn’t hesitate to pick one of these for a roadtrip. What about you? What new sub-$40,000 car would you choose for a roadtrip?

I was behind a ‘15 yesterday, and I have to say that I like how the rear of the car looks. At first I thought it would look awkward.
Oh, I would take a Fiat Abarth, just because lol

If I were doing the gravel road thing, I’d be tempted to go for something like a Jeep Wrangler or a Toyota Tacoma. Something I could camp in/on, for added roadtrip-ness.

It might take a bit of work to find one that comes in under the $40k mark, but I’d pick a 2 series convertible. Gotta be able to put that top down.

So close, should’ve rallied the Douglas Lake stage instead of Campbell creek!

You wouldn’t go to Vernon then, you would go do Whipsaw instead..

That’s it? Fuck that was a GREAT deal. We get shafted pretty bad in Canada on performance cars but at least our trucks are cheap.

4Runner Trail. Decently comfortable, and could take me places a car can’t.

Yeah, I’m with yamahog. I choose mine. Especially if I’m going to go off-road, like your coworker.
